Legal Basis (Sec. 301- National Building Code of the Philippines)
No person, firm or coporation, including any angeny or instrumentality of the government shall erect, construct, alter, repair, move, convert or demolish any building or structure or cause the same to be done without first obtaining a Building Permit therefore fro the Building Official assigned inn th place where the subject building is located or the buiding work is to be done.

STEP 1 = ENGINEERING OFFICE
Secure/Fill-Up Application Form/Presentation of Requirements
✓ 3 Copies of Barangay Clearance
Clearance for Building Permit Purposes
✓ 5 Sets of Bldg. Plan Documents
Signed & Sealed by the licensed Architect in case of architectural plans, signed & sealed by licensedCivil Engineer in case of structural plans
✓ 5 Sets of Sanitary / Plumbing Permit
Signed by licensed Sanitary Engineer or Master Plumber, the design of septic tank must be three chambers in compliance to Supreme Court Order & to be signed by license Sanitary Engineer
✓ 5 Sets of Electrical Permit
Signed & Sealed by licensed Professional Electrical Engineer
(National Bldg. Code MC #2,s.2015 & NBC 1.3.2 of the Phil Electrical Code)
All Building Official are hereby enjoined to be stricter in approving Building Permits by requiring the submission of electical plans that include design analysis showing all the calculations of short circuits, voltage drop and other essential data as requisite for the issuance of Electrical Permit. Likewise, existing building, factories and infrastructures with substantial electrical load shal be subjected to inspections and that an updated design analysis and calculations is required to ensure that fire and life requirements are being complied.

✓ Structural Design/Analysis (If Applicable)
✓ 3 Sets of Specifications
✓ 3 Copies of Bill of Materials / Estimated Cost
✓ 4 Copies of land title with latest Tax Receipt
Description & Owner of the ot on which the proposed work is to be done as evidence and/or copy of contract of lease if the applicants is a lesse. If title/tax dec. is not in name of application, a valid actionable documents showing ownership rights over the property if necessary. A Valid actionable documents maybe an Extra-Judicial Partition & Agreement if applicant is a heir, a Deed of Sale or assignement if applicabble is a buyer or assignee of the lot, a Deed of Donation if applicant is a Donee of Sale or assignement if applicant is a buyer or assignee of the lot, a Deed of Donation if applicant is a  Donee of the Lot. 
✓ Original Copy of the Approved Construction Safety & Health Program from Department of Labor & Employment Field Office, Trece Martirez City
